Originally from Louisville, singer/songwriter Ginger Curry has lived in Bloomington Indiana for the past ten years.  The daughter of a Southern Baptist Minister, Ginger has been influenced by the rich tradition of gospel music that was such a big part of her early religious experience.  Singing has always been an important part of her life and an important part of her spiritual practice.  After earning a degree in Music Education from the University of Louisville, Ginger taught High School Choir for six years before deciding to devote more time to pursuing her own musical interest.
